Too often companies run on a profit-at-any-cost mentality. Step back and look at the whole picture and that mindset hurts all of us, the environment, the economy, and the well-being of our people. The best way to address it is to set a good example: take the steps you can to minimize your impact while doing business.
We are a small, fresh company, so we are limited in what we can take on right now. Tattooing also produces a lot of unavoidable waste, used gloves, needles, paper towels and anything that contacts a body must be thrown away to stay sterile. To help offset that, we make efforts everywhere else we can. Our steps are small, but any reduction moves us closer to the kind of socially and environmentally responsible company this world needs.
- Recycling paper products
- Recycling plastic products
- Re-using packaging materials
- High-efficiency lighting
- Promotional materials printed with soy ink
- Providing an economic stimulus for our local economy
- Doing business with other local businesses
- Purchasing from sustainable companies
- Safely disposing of contaminated materials such as needles
- Promoting positive outlooks and a healthy lifestyle
- Spreading awareness for sustainability
We are limited by what we can do today, but we believe every company should share the practices and ethics it is using. As we grow, we'll keep adding to this list.
