As anyone in the area knows, we've been consistently busy, and we apologize to anyone we've inconvenienced. We've been reaching out to great artists who share similar styles to feature as guests for a few days, plus a part- or full-time artist to help take on the appointments and foot traffic.

We require at least two years of professional shop experience, a strong portfolio, and a professional attitude and work ethic, someone willing to work with clients' ideas while still creating a great final product. To cut down on wait times and reschedules, I'm not taking on any new appointments until 2014. This lets me wrap up current projects. If you already have an appointment or I've told you I'd work on something, that all still stands. I'm only talking about anything new beyond that.

I'd booked every day (even most closed days) for the rest of the year, and many have been taking one for the team to let me work on new customers. Walk-In Fridays are still on, which is great for small tattoos and piercings without an appointment. I'm stoked this many people want work from me, and grateful for it. Winter gear, hoodies, beanies and more, is on the way too. Tyler Walstrom

First and foremost, thank you to everyone for the tremendous support for Rock & Ruthless, and for me as an artist. I never thought my shop would grow this much in a few months. I'm currently fully booked, with new appointments scheduling for October or later, so we've made Fridays available 11am-6pm for walk-in tattoos and piercings (palm-size or smaller, first come first served).

Any Facebook messages about tattoos or piercings will be redirected to my email, rockandruthless@gmail.com, our preferred way of booking to stay organized. Unless you hear otherwise, all appointments are still on. Thank you again to everyone helping my shop and me grow. Tyler Walstrom

Rock & Ruthless and Tyler Walstrom were featured in Lock Haven Magazine, a nice article telling the story of how the shop came together this past year. Look for it in The Haven, Winter 2013.

I'm now taking appointments at the new shop in Philipsburg, with dates beginning Saturday, December 15th. Book by email or by coming into the shop. The best way is our online "Tattoo Appointment" feature, where a deposit holds your spot and you enter your details and idea so we can keep everyone in order.

Please include your personal information, your tattoo idea, the placement, and multiple days and times you're available. As slots fill, it could be a couple of weeks until the next opening. Thank you! Tyler Walstrom

www.rockandruthless.com is officially up and running. There are still minor updates being made, so bear with me. The shop in Philipsburg, PA has a definite location and is being completely remodeled to bring clients a fresh new look. Watch for an official grand-opening date; I'm shooting for late November.

In the meantime, keep thinking over your tattoo ideas. Soon you'll be able to book. I appreciate everyone patiently waiting while I get everything rolling, and all the encouragement so far. Tyler Walstrom
